The secret compartment can be quickly unlocked and is revealed from under the main drawer. You can hide what ever you don’t want out in plain sight or to keep little hands away from something they aren’t supposed to touch. It ships hair pin legs detached. The legs will be pre drilled and you just attach easily. It is best to anchor to the wall. It is too heavy in the front if the top is opened all the way. All nightstands come with RFID or magnetic locks.
